Multiple OS in VPS Web Hosting
We offer three different Linux releases for the Operating System of our virtual private servers - Debian, CentOS and Ubuntu. These are among the safest and the most reliable OSs available on the market and we offer all 3 instead of only one since we realize that you might want to set up some software with specific requirements for the Operating System it shall run on. The latter is due to the fact that each of the three Operating Systems has a large support community behind it and there are various software programs you can install on the hosting server. Your OS selection will also determine what hosting Control Panel can be installed on the VPS in case you would like to use one and for this reason we offer multiple Control Panels as well. In the event you decide that you want another OS, our tech support team can quickly wipe the current one and set up the one that you'd like. We also offer an optional service to maintain the OS on your VPS updated weekly.
Multiple OS in Dedicated Servers Hosting
The dedicated server packages that we offer come with as many as three different Operating Systems to select from. They are all Linux distributions - Ubuntu, CentOS and Debian, and not only do they have no license taxes, but they’re also known as the most dependable and safe OSs. We provide three different ones because each one of them is supported by a separate community. The packages that you could add on your hosting server are different and this may matter in case you want to install some piece of software with particular requirements about the hosting environment. In this light, the web hosting Control Panel which you can select for the dedicated server is also determined by the Operating System that you will choose. You may choose any of the three Operating Systems throughout the order procedure, yet if needed, we can always install the server once again with an alternative one upon your request. As an optional service that you could add to the package at any time, we can update your OS regularly so as to keep it as secure as possible.
