If you get a hosting package from our company and if you use our email services, you’ll be able to activate spam filters for any of the email accounts that you create from the Email Manager section of your Hepsia Control Panel. With no more than a few clicks, you can choose between 5 separate levels of protection. If you start receiving spam, you can start with the lowest one and then gradually raise the level till you stop receiving spam. We use one of the very best and most popular email filters available on the market called SpamAssassin. It checks the header and the body of every email that you receive and calculates a spam score, based on which it either erases a certain email message or permits it to reach your mailbox. The Hepsia hosting Control Panel will also allow you to create custom email filters and either eliminate unasked-for emails or redirect them to a third-party email address like spam@domain.com where you can check them once again afterwards.
Spam Filters in Semi-dedicated Hosting
If you get a semi-dedicated server package from our company and if you create one or more mailboxes with any of the domain names hosted in the account, you will be able to activate the powerful, 5-level SpamAssassin anti-spam filter that we offer and keep all unwelcome messages away from your inbox. This feature is accessible through the Email Manager section of the Hepsia Control Panel and it can be activated or deactivated for any email account whenever you like. You can also adjust the protection level with a couple of clicks if junk emails still enter your inbox or the anti-spam filter begins erasing genuine emails. Since you can choose whether the spam should be erased instantaneously or re-sent to some other mailbox, you can set up spam@domain.com, for instance, and check all filtered email messages there, so as to make sure that you won’t miss a message that you require. The email messages that the filter permits to proceed will still be delivered to your mailbox.
